I finally pulled the trigger on this 30-pack of aluminum foil pans for my weekly meal prep, and let me tell you, it’s been a total game-changer for our busy household. Between soccer practice and late meetings, having a “grab and go” dinner ready in the freezer is the only way we stay sane.Quality and Durability: I was actually surprised by how sturdy these are. I’ve bought cheap ones from the dollar store before that buckle the second you put a heavy lasagna in them, but these hold their shape really well. They’re listed as 2.25 lb capacity, which is just the right size for a family side dish or a generous main course for two people. The aluminum is thick enough that I don’t feel like I have to double them up, even when I’m roasting heavier meats.Instructions and Use (Don’t skip this!): One thing I learned the hard way—follow the instructions and remove the lid before baking! The cardboard covers have a silver foil side, but they are absolutely not oven-safe. I usually just crimp a regular piece of foil over the top if I need to cover it while it’s in the oven. Also, make sure you cool your food down to room temperature before putting the lid on for the freezer; it helps prevent that nasty freezer burn and keeps the lid from getting soggy.User Friendliness: These are incredibly easy to use. The edges of the pan are designed to fold down over the cardboard lids, creating a pretty tight seal. I’ve used them for everything from freezer enchiladas to taking a peach cobbler over to the neighbor’s house. The best part? When you’re done, you just toss it in the recycling bin. No soaking or scrubbing pans for 20 minutes while the kids are asking for help with homework.Fit and Storage: The 8.5″ x 6″ size is perfect because they stack beautifully in my side-by-side freezer. I can fit about six of them on one shelf without it looking like a total mess. They are also deep enough (about 2 inches) that you don’t have to worry about sauces bubbling over the top too easily.

Perfect for it meal prep but a bit flimsy and expensive
I ordered these to use for meal prep for my new year new plan for 2026! Besides is perfect for portions, the lids fit perfectly on top, but they are a bit on the thin side and bend very easily. Because I’m using them for a meal plan in prep, the thinness of the aluminum shouldn’t be an issue as I do not intend to put food on the heavier side inside of them so they will work for me. However, if you intend to use these for anything heavy, these are not for you. For salads and 4 oz of meat with a side of vegetables, it was a few 2 oz snacks these will be perfect. I believe these are a bit on the expensive side of the food and purchase the library for about 25% of this price.
