Works for me.
I have bought many different creams, rubs and lotions for my sore and creaky knees. This seems to work the best. They aren’t as stiff when I use Biofreeze. I rub it in once a day and I can tell the difference if I miss a day. It’s a thick cream and I like that. I always keep a couple jars ahead. It works on my trapezius muscle as well. Not crazy about the smell, but it dissipates after a few hours.

Great Relief After Shoulder/Arm Surgery
I recently had rotator cuff and bicep tendon repairs surgery. At the recommendation of my occupational therapist, I got this cream for “local” pain relief. My doctor had prescribed diclofenac cream, but I got absolutely no relief from this. The Biofreeze has been great! It has a menthol base; for those of you as old as me (!), it smells like the mentholatum our moms used on us when we were kids. Anyway, when I apply it I get almost immediate relief. The menthol has a “cooling” effect, which feels great on both my shoulder and bicep area. I apply it wearing it a glove just so the cream is not all over my hand, but it is not sticky on the skin after application. I put some on about an hour ago and can still feel the “tingle” and am having no pain. For me, this has been a great product following a very painful surgery. Recommend to others.

Biofreeze is Second Best, which is really good!
I am an avid Salonpas user. Let’s just get that out in the open right away.That being said, Biofreeze is my second choice when it comes to pain relief cream. The odor is a little stronger/different than what I’m accustomed to, but it doesn’t linger for too terribly long.It works well to numb and dull the pain, but it doesn’t take it away for me like my favorite brand.I recommend using a disposable glove to put it on or to be near a strong water source and dish soap or else all the hand washing in the world isn’t going to get it off your hands!

Helps Relieve Knee Pain
Biofreeze Crean does help with knee pain but has strong menthol odor. The smell dissipates after a while but would prefer a milder odor or better yet, odor free.

This stuff is magic. Sore muscles, leg tightness, sore ankles, lower back tightness, yes I have all of those. I’m a devoted Portland trail Blazer fan and they have these little biofreeze patches stitched on their uniform and of course they run commercials touting the effectiveness of biofreeze. I started with the little sample packs because I was skeptical. they come in little packets like the Sandy wipes you use when you eat fried chicken. There’s a little dab of cream and because I have some ankles I rub some on there and within 10 minutes there was no pain and I was shocked. Literally shocked out of my mind that it worked that quick.I moved on to the roll on which was okay. Very convenient. But they don’t put a lot of biofreeze in those containers for me so I moved on to the jar of cream and now I have found my home. I’ve used one jar already between my wife and I. We are both senior citizens and of course that equates to something sore on the body everyday. I use it on the wife’s neck and back and she smiles from ear to ear. I like it on the aforementioned areas basically from cooking all my life as a chef. The biofreeze isn’t as effective on my wrists but that’s because I have carpal tunnel. It will relieve the pain and make it feel better but it doesn’t eliminate the pain on my wrists.The other key factor when using biofreeze is to apply the product to the sore area but then I have learned to let the area dry up a bit before putting my t-shirt shorts or socks on where I’ve applied to biofreeze. Once it is dry from a visual standpoint I put my clothing back on and the effectiveness of the product is 20 times better.Now I know this isn’t going to work for everybody but I’m telling you it works for me and I highly endorse biofreeze. Good enough for Damian Lillard it’s good enough for me.
