Perfect for my Half Marathons!
This was a great purchase! I have used it for 5 plus races including 2 half marathons. It fits everything I need, no chafing, and it has the perfect amount of room for my gels, keys, and Air Pods!

⭐️ Fantastic Camelback ⭐️ Edited 8/11/2024
This is a fantastic camelback! Wore it on a 20K run. Here are some of my impressions:The fabric is very light and really nice quality. The camelback is very adjustable; so you can make it fit perfectly. It stays put, has nice mesh on the backside. And when it’s full, while you can hear the water move, the camelback itself stays very nicely in place.Love the details! Both shoulder straps have good pouches in the front. They can hold extra water bottles; or extra nutrition, tissues etc. you can tighten the top of the pouches to secure whatever you put in there. The left front pouch has an additional front pocket with a zipper: that is perfect to steadily hold a large smartphone steadily in ace (e.g. iPhone 15 or similar sized phones) , as well as other small flat items. Again, there are many ways you can adjust the fitting of the backpack with good mechanisms to tighten up things.Super thoughtful: it has a small, almost not noticeable, but impressively **loud whistle**! I mean loud! Great little safety feature recommended for women! Thank you!Inside the camelback there is good room for the bladder. The bladder goes in from the top, and there’s a loop to secures it in place. The drinking tube goes through the shoulder strap and can be worn in different ways: one way is to have it go across your chest and then hook it into the hook on the other shoulder-strap so that the mouthpiece is actually facing up towards your chin. The bladder itself is great, too. It holds 1.5 liters; it doesn’t leak and works perfectly well, but to have it watertight you have to hear it “snap shut,” so just twisting it in one direction only may not do it (I read that in other reviews, so watched out for it). The drinking tube works well and has a little lever that allows you to even completely stop the flow-mechanism.All in all: I am very happy with this camelback, so much that I decided to write this review. Hope it is helpful!Update: The blue water bladder started leaking early July! I contacted CamelBak Customer Support and submitted a claim for a defective water-bladder with proof of purchase and images of the CamelBak vest and drinking reservoir. It was accepted and I received a replacement Crux 1.5L Reservoir, Blue, in the mail within 10 business days. I continue to use and enjoy the super practical hydration vest.

Good first hydration vest
Good hydration vest. The fabric is a little scratchy. Wearing a short sleeve shirt v.s. tank top solves that problem. Pockets in the front are handy for storage. Easy to drink from and clean. I’m happy to be able to go out on a 3 hour run and know I’ll have enough water.

Lightweight, gets the job done
This is the first hydration vest I’ve owned so I don’t have anything to compare it to. But I had a few features in mind that I wanted in a vest:(1) I’m fairly petite, so I wanted something designed for women that could be easily adjusted in size.(2) Pockets in the front for fuel/tissues/whatever.(3) Lightweight feeling/material. I really dislike the feeling of heavy fabric on my skin when running. I needed something that would not make me feel significantly hotter or bogged down while wearing it.(4) A bladder that’s easy to fill and obviously doesn’t leak. This vest hits all the marks pretty well. It definitely meets (1) and (2) above. In terms of feel (3), most of the time I really don’t notice that I have this on, but towards the end of longer, sweater runs, I definitely start noticing the feeling of the mesh material on my back. The weight of the bladder is pretty much not noticeable at all.In terms of (4), the bladder, I had some issues I needed to figure out on this. The bladder that came with the vest leaked the first I used it. I’m not sure if I had sealed it properly or not, but I gave up on it that day and tried again another day. It worked fine on the second try. However, on the third try I noticed the bladder actually had a small hole/slit in it up above the 1-liter line. I believe this hole was probably there the entire time and that may be why it leaked the first time (second time used I filled it with less water). I ended up ordering a replacement bladder (the same model) separately and have had zero problems with it since. My one complaint about the bladder is the mouthpiece, I find it takes a long time to get a good sip of water. You really need to press the mouthpiece in firmly for any water to come out. Which I guess might be a good thing sometimes so you don’t get too much at once.

Fit for smaller people.
This is great for hiking and keeping my essentials on me. I bought it for walking on the track during summer and it doesnt disappoint. It does fit a little snugly and I had to extend all the straps totally out. Im 5’7 and 140lb woman with 38D cups so that’s probably why. If you have those measurments, I’d find something bigger. It will be tight.

Bladder leaking after one use.
Bladder started leaking after one use and is unusable, gets everything inside wet. The backpack itself works well and is comfortable.

Trinkblase ist undicht. Aber als Laufweste okay. Für Marathon absolut nutzlos. Musste eine andere Trinkblase von einem Billigrucksack nehmen. Aus meiner Sicht inakzeptabel.

Product marketed as UNISEX, upon receiving the item it clearly says WOMAN FIT. Otherwise no complaints about the pack, probably would not have bought this one had I known it was fitted for women, being a man
