    Wonderful socks for edema
Note: used for elder care. These are great socks for edema; I honestly can’t believe the difference! Through some wizardry, the fabric looks and feels like cotton. (46 NYLON 45 POLYESTER 6 SPANDEX 3 OTHER FIBER).The stretch is perfect at the knee bands–giving enough so it’s not too tight, yet tight enough to stay in place. The foot fit fine (size 8 XXW women’s shoe); it felt like it could easily accommodate a longer foot. It might not be great for small feet, as the fabric must be smoothed for even compression. I would not recommend these for wider calves. As with all compression socks, getting them on is a chore. For an extra-wide foot, starting the process is 95% of the battle. It takes a bit of work to get the toe and heel aligned properly, but once the foot is fitted, the rest was smooth sailing. The instructions are very clear: do not pull them up using the top band; massage the sock up the calf.Compared to similar products, the stretch of Dr. Scholl’s is more forgiving. These did not leave a “sausage casing” band at the knee. The graduated compression is subtle, but the looser elastic just below the knee is perfect. The fabric itself feels more durable–I did not worry about snags, and I didn’t feel like my fingers were about to tear through them. The wearer had nothing but praise: immediate relief not just in the calves, but also a reduction foot discomfort.I bought the gray with navy floral pattern, and it’s lovely. It doesn’t look like a medical intervention; they’re just pretty socks. The price was reasonable.

I am so grateful for these!!! They are my favorite compression socks!!!
I love these compression socks. I wear them every day. They have been the best ones that I have found. I have bought several pairs over the time that I’ve needed them to help manage my leg swelling. They are tight but not so tight they cut off circulation, which is nice. They tend to be comfortable enough that I can easily wear them all day and not notice them or them causing me pain or discomfort. I wear my regular socks over them (I love to wear coordinated socks with my outfits or for a holiday.). Because of this I have learned to cut the toes of the compression socks off so that I won’t get a toe fungus or anything. I learned that the hard way and had a toe nail get infected and fall off. They are very stretchy and glide on easily. This nude color actually match’s my skin tone, so they blend in with my skin. I love the pattern on them it makes me feel very fancy. I have received many compliments on them from people thinking they were hose or stockings instead of compression socks. They are very supportive and keep my legs from swelling as much as they will without them.

Nice socks but run a bit small
These are good compression socks. They definitely run a little bit small so maybe order a size up if you’re close to the top end of the size range. I like that they’re thin-ish and relatively soft. They’re not too hard to put on. The compression is good for my feet and legs. Firm, but not super squeezy. Will probably order again at some point, just in a larger size. I have to say that Dr. Scholls seems to be the best fit and most comfortable compression socks me out of all the brands I’ve tried.

Great quality, comfortable and easy to put on
These white Dr Scholls’s compression stockings were excellent on my overseas trip. I not only wore them on both flights, but also on the days we did alot of walking. My legs and feet did not hurt and my feet did not sweat, nor did they swell. They were easy to put on and take off without a stocking donner. The quality of these stockings is top notch. They are not so thin that it feels like your fingers will go through the material. I feel these will last for quite some time. I highly recommend these compression stockings for everyone.

    Too short
I wear a size 8 shoe, and am 5’3″ I bought the size 4-10. My legs are far from being long, and are average size in circumference, and these do not come up to my knees. If I pull them as hard as I can, they come close, but then they are very tight on my foot and toes. They have virtually no stretch to them either, so that doesn’t help. I do like the toe part, it seems like it would be very comfortable since it is nice and loose, and not confining. I’m trying to figure out if I should size up, or buy a different color or quantity, because looking at all of the different colors and quantities, there appear to be a few different products being sold. There are varying descriptions of the fabric. Some being 5% spandex, some being 6% lycra spandex. For instance the 3 pack of black have 5% spandex and the photo of the packaging shows them as “travel compression.” Whereas the single one pair of black, the photo of the packaging is different saying “graduated compression” and 6% lycra spandex. Very confusing. And reading other reviews, some people said they are too long (with same size foot and height as me), so that makes me wonder if the other colors or quantities are a different product all together.

    Changed my mind
I am changing my opinion of these compression socks. The lightweight fabric surprised me into thinking the compression wasn’t strong enough–but it’s actually perfect for daily wear. The fabric smooth, so pants and leggings ride easily over the top without bunching, and the compression is comfortable and strong enough to give my feet and legs a little boost with each step. Especially with the price, they are worth a try if you are thinking about using compression socks.

They fit great. Do the job they were intended to do and received multiple pairs for the price of one pair at Walmart.

Strangely the order arrived without packaging – only in a sealed clear plastic bag. No Dr. Scholl packaging or branding though it was advertised as ‘Dr. Scholl’s Women’s Travel Knee High Socks with Graduated Compression, Black, Shoe Size: 8-10’.Naturally, I am suspect it is even a Dr. Scholl product.
