It is perfect to hold yoga mats. I carry two different ones w/ same strap and works well.

Has several uses
Very happy with strap. Can use the loops at both ends to hook over legs to assist with leg exc or for arm exc. It also comes with velcro loop strap which I use to wrap around middle of rolled mat, with towel.Lots of options at great price
