Better than Apple Watch!
I can’t believe the capabilities of this $38 watch!!? I am a long time Apple Watch user, but I couldn’t keep up with the price and the fact that the battery performance is so poor on the Apple Watch that I decided to give this watch a try. I couldn’t be happier with the switch! It tracks my steps and distance walks effortlessly. And provides all of the features I need from a watch. I am ecstatic that I gave this watch a chance… it was SO worth it!I put it on 2 days ago and it still has 68% charge, whereas my Apple Watch would need to be recharged at least once a day or else it would ho blank because it completely ran out of battery life.The only 2 things that are less than my old Apple Watch are its ability to find my phone, which it often doesn’t work. And it’s messing with my use of the volume on my phone, but only sometimes and I haven’t completely finished figuring that out. All in all, it’s still WAY better than my old iWatch.

When taking calls the bluetooth will transer to the watch and nobody can hear you
This is a prefect smart watch for those of you who are on a budget and can not afford an apple watch! Truly is worth the money. Though the one thing that annoys me is that when i am taking calls the often swap over to the Bluetooth of the watch and no one can hear me whenever that happens. but other than that it is perfect! The notifications are good as well. It looks great, and feels nice. I do have a small wrist so it is still a bit loose on me ( I put it on the very last hole on the watch band ), the accuracy of tracking my steps is pretty good as well.

Carrier has to allow SMS texts. Check before you buy.
****UPDATE: seller offered a full refund after seeing my review and the item description should read more clearly about texts. It’s a great watch if it’s compatible with your carrier. The seller was so kind when reaching out to me. You just don’t get customer service like that anymore and I was blown away!Texts don’t come through. You have to make sure that your carrier allows SMS texts. I have an iPhone and Visible is my carrier. Can’t get text notifications. iMessages don’t come through. You can answer phone calls. Alexa works great. Health stuff works although I didn’t need that. It’s a nice watch and works great if your carrier is compatible with SMS texts.

Good, could be better
The advertised features of this watch are a little misleading. The watch simply takes signals and messages from your phone and displays them on the watch. Very little ability to input your own data, like for scheduling in the calendar.1. You need to wear a Cpap mask for the “Sleep Monitoring” feature to work.2. There is a delay in updating the watch data, so you can’t end a run and see you immediate heart rate.3. The calendar is just a static calendar with no input functionality.4. Accuracy is suspect; mine seems to add steps I didn’t walk?5. There’s doesn’t seem to be a way to raise the speaker volume because the sound for hearing phone calls is low.The good parts:1. The onscreen wizard to make all the setup connections worked well, no hitches.2. Easy to navigate interface.

For a super budget smartwatch, this is really quite impressive. It arrives very nicely packaged in a smart, flat box, fully charged and with a magnetic charging cable (USB-A) included.To pair it with your phone, you have to download the free VeryFit app, but after that, it’s a cinch – mine was paired up within a couple of minutes, and you don’t have to put too much personal info into the app to get it up and running. Customise it from the gallery of very nicely designed watch faces, and you’re ready to go.Functionally, it’s on a par with much more expensive devices. As well as the basic step counter, you have heart rate, O2, calls / messages via BlueTooth, and even sleep monitoring included. It’s hard to gauge the accuracy – I suspect that mine might be slightly overcounting my steps, but not by any significant margin – but overall, it’s performed really nicely.Although the chassis isn’t as solid as the high-end alternatives you’ll find on the High Street, it is robust, and it’s withstood a few knocks and bashes well during my day-to-day already. The strap is more than adequate – a comfortable rubberised material – but it’s very easy to swap it out for another strap if you want.Battery life is fantastic, to be honest – mine was going for days and days on a full charge, although I wasn’t using it for calls or anything. You could take this on a short trip and forget the charger – it will last a good 4-5 days of casual use without a recharge.All in all it’s just great for the price – I don’t hesitate in giving it five stars for combined function and value for money. Perfect as a first smartwatch if you don’t want to pay over the top prices for the big names.

UPDATE DEC 2024: Although I have been very pleased with this watch as reviewed below, it has suddenly stopped working with just a blank screen. I will contact the supplier as it is only 9 months old.Original review: I have a smaller fitness tracker that works with the same App (VeryFit) with similar but less features than this bigger, smart watch styled one. This is quite large for a smaller wrist, but the style is in Pink. The band is a standard type and can be changed, this one that it came with is soft and flexible and easy to do up. The watch needs to be fairly tight to avoid it slipping around my wrist, but there are lots of notches to get the best comfort fit.There are a huge number of settings to choose for tracking fitness and other functions. The choice of watch faces included is great, raise wrist to show display was a function I immediately turned on, as the chosen watch face is only shown when triggered. The faces show time, and some summary fitness data on the touch screen. There is also a digital crown for scrolling and press to trigger (in addition to the touch screen functions)They specify waterproofness in Rain and Pool, but warn against diving and sub-aqua, which is common to most ‘water resistance’ devices. There is an intriquing ‘drain water’ setting that vibrates the device for a few seconds and then advises to shake it. I guess this is to get any water out of the microphone and speaker holes, something the expensive smart watches do.It needs to stay connected to the phone via its Bluetooth 5.3 connection to use the intergration functions like notifications, make & receive calls.If you have an Amazon account it can connect to Alexa and use the microphone and speaker for voice commands.The touch screen display is bright, clear and touch is responsive; great use is made of it’s size for displaying graphs of data history Swiping left, right, up or down brings you to a different detail screen.As I say this is a comphresensive device, looks smart and I am on a voyage of dicovery, as I get more data I will update my review.
