Cute AND comfortable AND well made! It doesn’t get much better!!
I am a scientist which means I spend a lot of time on my feet every day, and am required by safety regulations to wear closed toe shoes in the lab at all times. Since I just wear a lab coat every day I get to dress casually, but that doesn’t mean I always want to wear my athletic sneakers every day. I’m always on the look out for comfortable, versatile closed toe shoes that are cuter and more fashionable than athletic shoes. I have worn Chuck Taylor slip ons in the past but truth be told they’re too narrow for my feet and are uncomfortable for that reason. When I saw these I thought they’d be perfect! They’re simple but cute and offer a great deal of support and comfort without being too big and chunky. I have very high arches and LOVE the arch support these offer!! That is so rare to find in a shoe like this! They are well made, high quality shoes. There was very little break in. I had a little rubbing on my heel the first day and it took the tongue a few wears to be really comfortable on the top of my foot (with a no show sock underneath) but otherwise felt great right out of the box! I always wear size 8.5 and these fit exactly as expected. I love that the laces aren’t too long and I don’t have big ugly bows or tails to flop around when I walk. Sometimes I tuck them in the shoe so they’re not visible. Once you tighten them up they stay that way very well on their own without needing to be tied super tight. I couldn’t be happier with this purchase and can definitely recommend these! I paid full price.

I saw these sneakers advertised elsewhere. I thought they’d be great for a walking around vacation. I decided to try them out before the trip. Oh my gosh! They are so so comfortable and look great! I bought 2 more pairs! Because of reviews I saw, I bought a half size up and wide. A good idea.

Update: We just got home from our Mexico cruise, and I can officially say that I love these sneakers! With the wrong socks, they do rub a bit funny on my pinky toes, but other than that they are awesome. The arch support is just right, they don’t slip off my narrow heels, and my feet aren’t in pain after a day of walking. Buy these shoes. I bet you won’t regret it!Original review: I normally only leave reviews after using an item, but upon the first try-on, I’m so glad I bought these! I have somewhat wide feet and narrow heels, so some shoes are too tight across the toe box, but most wide shoes are too wide and my narrow heel makes them want to slide off even more easily that usual. I also have plantar fasciitis and require decent cushion and arch support unless I’m cool with being in pain for the next few days. This combination of factors makes finding cute, comfortable shoes very tricky.Upon first trying these shoes on, I’m in love! The arch support is comfortable, solid, and actually in the right place for my foot, which can be hit or miss for me. I often find mens shoes more comfortable for this reason. These shoes could have better cushion in the footbed, but it’s not bad, especially in the heel, which is where I carry my weight when I stand. The insole I’m the toe area is pretty hard, though. This would actually have been a 5 star review if there had been just a bit more cushion in the insole. But these ones are still cute shoes that will look good with pants, shorts, and casual dresses during our cruise to Mexico. I wanted to look cute, but still be comfortable on shore excursions and walking around the port, and I think these shoes are exactly what I was looking for!I’ll update this review, for better or for worse, after I’ve worn them in and done a bunch of walking and site seeing in them. I’m definitely optimistic, though!

Size is good, color is perfect, insole is very supportive, love them!
There wasn’t really anything to dislike. Upon trying them on, I did feel the top edge of the shoe heel rubbing against the skin on my heel, but remedied that (hopefully temporarily) with a bandaid which did the trick. I have high arches, and the insole supported my feet perfectly. These shoes are literally a Godsend. The color is as shown in the picture online. I love these shoes. They felt comfy immediately. The size is perfect with thinner socks, but heavier socks will not work. I usually wear a size 9, such as in Merrells, so after reading the reviews regarding size, I ordered a 9 1/2, and they are perfect. My feet are particular about the shoes I wear, and these fit and look awesome. So happy I purchased them, and considering ordering another pair in a different color. Thanks Taos for such a quality shoe!!Update: I used a water spray bottle to lightly dampen the back of the shoe where it rubbed on my heel, and VERY GENTLY, from the inside of the shoe, pushed back on the material where I dampened it. It stretched the heel just enough so it doesn’t rub on my foot…worked great. Again, if you’re going to try this, VERY GENTLY.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I was looking for a shoe for travel. Thought these were cute and advertised as having good support. Sadly, they seem to run a bit small and did not work for me. Had to return

Light weight Andrade with cotton.
I have bought these shoes many times. They are my favorite snickers. They are light weight and the fabric is breathable so you don’t sweaty as much. Good neutral color. Mix between grey and jeans. Good for wider feet since they have wide options. Rubber sole I believe. So it’s non slip. Cotton fabric and even the shoe lace is cotton. The glue hold them together well even after a year. Cure with. The jeans and skirts. I can definitely recommend them. They fabric shapes after you foot after a while.

I bought these based on the great reviews. I wanted to wear them around Europe. They looked super cute with Jean shorts. They hurt a little at the top of the foot and by the toes (and I bought a size up). I tested them out one night to a baseball game and they really hurt the whole time. And one of my socks kept falling under and I couldn’t get it back up without untying the show and taking it off. So disappointed that I spent the money and now I have to find new shoes.
