Lightweight but warm
This review is by someone in Nor Cal, not East Coast or Mountain winter cold.But in 30 degree Fahrenheit morning cold, it is very effective for working out outdoors, I believe it would handle well in the 20 degree range, also. The pony tail opening in the back is perfect for lower pony tails like mine. Not too tight but secure. very soft and comfortable.

Place for pony tail!
Love this! Warm and visible and a place for my pony tail. This comes down on my forehead so I get a bit more protection from the elements. Great for pokemon hunting in snowy conditions. I also use it when I am outside plowing. My daughter asked for one to use running. In the past I had trouble with hats sliding off my head due to my long hair being down. This solved that problem.Kathy

Stays in place
Worked out in 17 degree weather this morning and was not cold! This hat is warm and wicks well – so great for the full hour+. Also, it fits well and the pony tail spot is genius – the hat stays in place and so does my pony tail! I wash it in the washing machine, but hang dry and it kept its shape.

low ponytails will love this
My head is warm and the reflective strip is great. However, I use high ponytails. The opening is low on this and keeps the hair down on my neck which I do not like. So, I use this hat for no ponytail days.

Fits Great for Low Pony Tails
This is the only hat/ear band that I’ve ever had stay where I want it over my ears when I’m wearing a low pony tail or have my hair down and pulled through the back. It’s also very warm in the wind (surprised me) and I love the color and the wider reflective band. I walk my dog after dark and this is really helping with our visibility.

Warm hat
The hat is warm and good for cold weather running. I would have liked the ponytail hole to have been higher. It is at the bottom of your neck and if you try and wear the hat higher up for a higher ponytail, it looks silly. It was also a little tight on my head. Overall a good running cap.

Warmes Fleecematerial. Das Zopfloch hätte ich gern etwas weiter unten gehabt. Die Mütze sitzt nicht zu eng auf dem Kopf. Es bleibt abzuwarten, ob sie beim Laufen ins Gesicht rutscht…

Eigentlich eine schöne Mütze in einer tollen leuchtenden Neonfarbe. Ich besitze schon 2 Mützen der gleichen Marke und bin begeistert. Diese Mütze ist mir für den Laufsport zu warm. Das Material ist ein sehr dicker Fleece. Darum habe ich die Mütze zurückgeschickt. Trotzdem 4 Sterne, weil das Wärmeempfinden subjektiv ist!!

I haven’t worn this to run yet but I wore it out on a very cold day. It is nice and soft and good quality. It covered my ears and the reflective strip is awesome. I have fine hair so the ponytail hole was good, it’s big enough to fit a thick ponytail. Definitely worth the cost.

Kept my head warm! Kept myPonytail in place. Just a tad loose around my ears but that’s because of the reflective band – excellent purchase. Great for running with of their is a wind or snow falling.
