Perfect for travel
This is a great product. Is it an excellent, plush yoga mat? No. Is it the finest quality yoga mat money can buy? Of course not. But in terms of pure utility, it gets a 10/10 from me. It’s like 3 pounds and fits in any suitcase or a large backpack/tote bag, so it’s incredibly easy to travel with. For short trips where your main concern is being able to get some movement and stretching in, in pretty much any environment, it’s perfect. I’m not sure about wear & tear yet because I’ve only brought it on one trip, but so far, based on how my back/neck is feeling after a 6 hour flight (WAY better, because I was able to pop this thing on the hotel floor and do a nighttime/morning yoga routine), I would buy this again in an instant.

great for travel anywhere
about the 5 stars for comfort and thickness: considering you’re buying a mat for travel that is 2mm thick, the comfort is what you’d expect. comfort in this category is about stickiness and LACK of thickness for travel and being the size and thickness of a laptop inside a protective case.anyway, this is not a mat for hot yoga of any kind as it would need a towel to not be slippery with a lot of sweat. that said, vinyasa flow outside a heated room is totally doable. and just add a towel if you like hot yoga on the go.i bought this for personal practice at work and traveling and doing yoga. i washed it with a mix of 50/50 white vinegar and water with a soft bristle brush and it has been great since. it is plenty sticky for poses like that. again, no major sweat or yoga outside in the rain. using for a relatively intense workout at a pace that keeps you from becoming dripping with sweat it works awesome!i use between clients or at lunch at work. i will wear a tank top and looser yoga pants and cover it all w a suit jacket and no one can tell i am ready for yoga underneath. then, at lunch or between clients, i can drop the mat in my office and get a solid workout just removing my jacket or even the shirt i might wear, too. i cool down then add my office clothing back on the top half of my body.for me, having a mat that allows that without a big tube sticking out of my bag all bulky is fantastic. the “sacrifices” i deal with to have this fit into a work bag or suitcase are WELL worth it to me.i can also use it in hot yoga/vinyasa flow just by bringing a towel.i am totally happy with my purchase and think this is a totally usable travel mat that is easily carried. it also folds in on itself so the bottom touching the floor esp in an office or hotel room is not being introduced to the top when you can’t clean it before putting it away. nice! the bottom folds to itself! again, less concern with dirt or whatever else also being exposed in your bag.for the low price point and convenience i would easily purchase again. if you are used to a high end mat and get super drippy sweaty then maybe this isn’t for you unless you bring a towel. however, being for travel and convenience it is fantastic in my opinion. gets lots of use!

Great foldable, lightweight and portable yoga mat!
I love how easy it is to fold this yoga mat and pack it into both my backpack and carry-on. Weighing just 2 pounds (around 1 kilogram), it’s incredibly lightweight and portable. At only 2 mm thick, it’s best used on a soft surface like carpet or layered over another yoga mat. I bring this foldable mat to yoga classes and the gym, placing it on top of provided mats for hygiene. No more worrying about sanitizing or touching other people’s sweat!I highly recommend this mat for anyone looking for a lightweight and foldable option.

Perfect for travel but a bit thin
I got this mat to use on a trip and it has been great ever since. It’s noticeably thinner than the Gaiam mat I use at home and for yoga class, but I knew that it would be thinner in order to fold. It’s pretty good overall, but you wouldn’t want to use it on very hard floor surface or your hands will become angry with you during downward dog! I appreciate having this to pack in my bag so I can do yoga in my hotel or check out local yoga studios when I travel.

Lightweight Perfect for Travel, Mat Need Anti-slip Socks/gloves
Great design, pattern and concept. I’m traveling every five weeks for the next year so I felt like this was a valid purchase. As others have mentioned, it is more slippery than my traditional yoga mat. That would be the only reason I would consider returning it, but I am going to take it on this first trip to see how it goes. I am pleasantly surprised by the size. It is only three or 4 inches shorter than my traditional yoga mat at most. I think that if I buy yoga socks and gloves, it will rectify the slippery situation.

Very thin and narrow – not comfortable to use on a regular basis
It does fold to a flat square that fits great in a suitcase. For me it is too thin – does not provide enough protection / padding. I know the point is compactness, but any poses with knees on the floor are very uncomfortable. It is also quite narrow, so it is not fully functional for a typical workout. It’s not much different than being on a bare wood floor. My hands also slid pretty easily. It is easy to clean though. I haven’t returned it, but I definitely will only use it in an “emergency”.

Handy and effective
I bought this for traveling and use it at home as well. One of the best features is that it folds up with what would be the dirty side in so you don’t have to worry about getting dirt on your face. I read the other reviews and if it starts to lose it stickiness you just wipe it with a damp cloth and it is perfect again. It is thin so I use it over a thicker yoga mat at home and over a towel if I am traveling somewhere. Highly recommended. I did let it air out before I used it, but this smell went away quickly.

Good travel mat
Love this mat. Packed stacked or flat. Was easy to use. Provided thin pad with Gaiam traditional sticky workout mat. Great for travel or using outside on grass or sand. Narrow width made it easy to use in hotels.

Light weight, tough, non slip and comfortable.

Me encantó.
